PRELUDE

Australian Galleries is one of Australia’s longest-established and most respected commercial galleries, with a history of representing artists including Brett Whiteley and Jeffrey Smart. PRELUDE was the gallery’s first open-call exhibition for emerging artists. I was honoured to have my two oil paintings, Transient Symmetry #1 and Transient Symmetry #2, chosen for the exhibition alongside 123 other emerging artists. Exhibiting my work in the same spaces that have presented the work of many significant Australian artists was a particularly meaningful experience for me and an important moment in the development of my practice.
